A two and a half thousand year old play about asylum-seeking women featuring a 50-piece female choir. A wordless play with more than a hundred local actors. A "Scottish" setting of Shakespeare's "A Winter's Tale". Wow. I am so excited and honoured (and a bit flustered) to be part of the new season at Edinburgh's gorgeous and prestigious Lyceum Theatre under its new artistic director David Greig. My one-woman piece WIND RESISTANCE will find its fully fledged form in August this year as part of a 17-show run. Whit? 17 shows? Yup. In Edinburgh in August? Yup. When there are more than 2000 shows? Em, yup. Madness? Aye, probably … unless … unless, you fancy coming?
